Live Music – Floating Floors
July 20 @ 9:00 pm - 11:59 pm
Floating Floors is a group of young musicians out of Toronto, Canada who have been very busy on their musical path, and have been steadily playing shows since they formed in 2016. With a sound similar to Jack White meets Kings of Leon, they’ve released two singles (“What More Can I Do” and “Seen It All”) from their upcoming EP.
They have an impressive list of venues they’ve played in and around the city of Toronto including headlining the legendary Horseshoe Tavern, hosted a full house at the Cameron House, held intimate shows at Cavern and Junction City Music Hall, and have even performed at Lee’s Palace. You can also find them at local craft breweries in the Greater Toronto Area such as; Lake Wilcox, Crafty Coyote, and Market Brewing.
They were approached by Kevin O’Leary (engineer for Shawn Mendes, Three Days Grace, Billy Talent, Glorious Sons, The Trews, The Tragically Hip) from the prestigious Noble Street Studio in Toronto to record an EP and received a nomination for Best Rock Group at the 2017 Toronto Independent Music Awards.
